LeNS Oceania entries honoured in Bangalore

Five LeNS Oceania entries were recognized in the international LeNS Student Design Competition. The works were published in the LeNS catalog, "A World of Sustainable Ideas", edited by Cindy Kohtala and Carlo Vezzoli. They were also exhibited during the Sustainability in Design Now! LeNS International Conference in Bangalore India from 29 Sep to 1 Oct 2010.

The awarded works were projects of industrial design students at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. These are as follows:

This is the blog site of LeNS Oceania, the Australia-NewZealand regional hub of the Learning Network on Sustainability. LeNS is a project for curricula development and teaching diffusion on Design for Sustainability focused on product-service system innovation. The site of the original LeNS project involving 7 universities in Asia and Europe, funded by the Asia Link Programme, EuropAid, European Commission, can be viewed at http://www.lens.polimi.it/. The site has an Open Learning E-Package (learning resources and tools) and Project Courses on sustainable product service systems design, which can be downloaded for free, in copy left and open source ethos.
